The knife itself overall is well made, small imperfections in the edge bevel and missed cleaning under the guard and little scratches on one of the rivets in the handle, its really the sheath i have a problem with.
Its ill fitting to the blade and made of this cheap plether material that went heavy on the P bit, looks and feels awful. There is a notch cut out of a small section of it too tho i have no idea what for. Some kind of defect being removed? I wasn't expecting it to be the greatest sheath from the pictures alone let alone the money, but damn is it bad
more effort was put into the velvet box that gets throw away than the sheath that will protect the knife when out in use
Knife itself is a 4/5 Sheath is a 1/5
One of the knifes i got that was made with this plether material as well, has about 1 to 1.5 inch's of stitching missing out the top, so much so i can poke the end of the knife out of it and cut stuff while its still in the sheath. that one was the worst out of the 4 knifes i bought in that order. Its lanyard holes has a sharp point going towards your hand when you hold it, causing it to dig into your hand making it difficult to hold with any comfort (it is the same as this larger knife but the hole feature was put on the other side of the end of the handle, making it go straight into you palm when holding it(this knifes handle isn't very big about 3-3.5 inch's long), i wouldn't consider that particular small knife finished. that knife i wouldn't use till i fix the lanyard stabbing my palm every time i hold it and with the sheath having the missing stitching in it, its mostly useless for protecting the knife
the other 2 knifes sheaths i had ordered are made much better with none of the plether stuff
